Killing Cinnamon Chocolate cookies – Who doesnt like cookies? For childern-its a treat. For adults – its pleasure. Any tea or coffee party is incomplete without this delicious treat. Chocolate cookies are the best friend to have with milk. Mentioned ingredients Prepare one bowl of cookies and they come together in minutes. I like the taste and texture of freshly made cookies. those crispy and crunchy texture with moisture inside, is super yummy.

Initially, the cooking dough will be soft but if you refrigerated it for 1-2 hours, it will come easily on a cookie sheet, i.e. Butter paper.

Ingredients – Cinnamon Chocolate cookies

  1. 1stick cinnamon, crushed into powder
  2. Nutella chocolate
  3. 1/2 cup salted butter, melted*
  4. 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  5. 1 Egg
  6. 1 Tsp Vanilla extract
  7. 1/3 cup Maida
  8. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  9. 1 cup hazelnuts

*for butter – you can have unsalted butter also but then you have to add 1/2 tsp salt in Flour(maida)

Instructions – Cinnamon Chocolate cookies

  1. Add butter and sugar to a bowl, and mix it with a whisker. Keep on whisking until a smooth paste.
  2. Add egg and vanilla extract. Please stick to the potions.
  3. Add baking soda and Maida. Mix it until it becomes dough.
  4. Refrigerate it for one hour. Don’t forget to cover the bowl with plastic wrap.
  5. Meanwhile, pre-heat the oven to 270 degrees celsius and get ready with a tray lying butter paper on it.
  6. Now, Scoop the cookie dough and place it on a butter paper tray.
  7. And the yummy step – create a hole in center of cookie dough and place a drop of nutella, cover it dough again.
  8. bake it for 15-20 minutes until they are lightly golden.
  9. Feel the aroma of Killing Cinnamon Chocolate cookies.
  10. Take them out and let them cool down on butter paper itself
  11. Remove them and store in air-tight jar.

Bonus Tip

  • Put a slice of white bread in the cookie jar to keep them moist. I suggest to keep white bread so that no flavour is transferred to your cookies. White bread is soft and supple. It will transfer its moisture to the cookies and your cookies will be soft for longer time. Do not keep 1 slice for longer period of time as bread tends to get stale after 1 or 2 days.
  • Do not over beat the batter. It will cause bubbles in your cookies or bownie. Do not fully use machine whisker. Use spatula partially to beat the batter.
  • Do Not over bake them. This is trick to keep them soft and chewy.

How long are cookies and brownies good after being made?

For Brownies – Store uncut brownie cake in the baking pan itself and cover it with aluminium foil. For cut pieces, store it in air tight container. It will stay fresh and eatable for about a week and half.

For crispy cookies – Let them cool down completely. Then you can store them in air-tight container. They will be fresh for several weeks. If you stay at dry place, you can keep them in loosely covered container too.

For soft and chewy cookies – Have moisture and tend to stale quickly as compared to the other two mentioned above. Store them in air-tight cookies , preferred glass jars. After two days, put 1 bread slice in it to keep them soft and moist. This way you can have your chewy cookies for a week.
